Security practices

The following list was updated July 26, 2022.

• We use SSL/TLS everywhere, within the data center (Microsoft Azure) and out.
• Your data in the cloud is encrypted at rest and in transit.
• We run 100% on the cloud using Azure (Europe-West & Germany) within a virtual private network that cannot be accessed via the public internet, except via our public-facing servers.
• brainboost as a processor of Customer Data has restricted data access to employees under confidentiality agreements

We work with the following companies and tool systems to store, analyze, and transmit data for our users.

Glossary

Microsoft Azure is the cloud service we use to process data. User Data like for example Account Information and Customer Data and content and transferred to Microsoft Azure. This allows to provide Cloud Sync Services and backup options in case of data loss. All communication with Microsoft Azure is encrypted.

Stripe is the payment service we use to process the Subscription Plans and Fees. You billing information is shared with Stripe in order to execute the Order Forms and provide our Services.

SendGrid allows automated e-mail generation for information and marketing purposes. Your contact information is shared with SendGrid to send automatically generated mails such as order confirmations and others.
